Pocket Garden ~ Succulents
I don’t work on Fridays but I planned on using this extra day to still stay in my home office and work on some personal “office” stuff. I prepared my to do list last night (Thursday night), but when I woke up, I felt the need to put on my housewife hat. So I didn’t do any of my serious to do list and enjoyed cleaning the house, washing all the laundry, other chores, and… gardening.
I wrote too much last week so I’m not going to do that this week. Instead, I’ll let you enjoy some photos of my succulents.
My husband encourages me to use my camera. He teaches me some techniques as well. Here is a sample of Bokeh.
This pot is usually used for bonsai, but I use it as my propagation pot. See those cute baby florals? Aren’t they cute?
Another shot from the front. I have no idea what theses plants’ names are, I just know that they are succulents. 😀 I learned how to look after them by trial and error. I noticed that they thrive under the sun because when they were indoors for a long time, their leaves fall out quite easily. Succulents don’t need to be watered often unlike herbs so they’re very easy to propagate and grow.
Here they are inside our home near the fish bowl. They will be enjoyed there for a couple of days, but should be brought outside to get some sun every once in a while.
This day is very fruitful and I am so grateful to be blessed with more than enough energy to accomplish much and be of service to my family. We are still in lockdown but so far we are learning how to make ourselves busy and productive to keep our peace while waiting. I pray that you are doing well wherever you are.
