Meet Ina Reyes
With more than a decade as a systems developer, I learned to see problems and solutions through the lens of systems thinking — understanding how each component, process, and decision connects to the bigger picture. That perspective now shapes my work in data analytics, where I’m building skills in analysis, visualization, and modern data technologies.
What began as a sabbatical evolved into a purposeful journey: learning to turn data into insights, and insights into meaningful action. My background in automation and software development gives me a strong foundation for creating practical, scalable solutions, while I continue to grow my expertise in data-driven decision-making.
This site is both a portfolio and a learning journal — a place where I document projects, share tools and techniques I’m exploring, and reflect on lessons learned. It’s my open lab, where each project is another step toward mastering the craft: one skill, one experiment, one insight at a time.

Who can benefit from insights?
My insights are aimed at professionals, teams, and organizations seeking to make better decisions with data — as well as learners and developers who want to explore practical, real-world approaches to solving problems.
What skills are highlighted here?
You’ll find examples of automation, data visualization, database work, analytics, and a mix of tools from both my software development and data analytics experience. These skills are evolving as I learn more about modern data technologies.
What inspires your projects?
I’m inspired by curiosity, problem-solving, and the potential of data to tell meaningful stories. Many projects start as “what if?” experiments that grow into practical solutions.
How do you choose what to work on next?
I prioritize projects that challenge me to learn a new skill or apply a concept in a real-world way — ideally something that bridges my development background and data-focused goals.
What tools and technologies are you currently learning?
I’m currently focused on Power BI, SQL, Python for analytics, and cloud-based platforms like Databricks — while keeping an eye on emerging tools that improve automation and analysis.
